And It Rained Harder Than Ever Before...

for the fourth day in a row it has been cloudy, raining, and unusually cold. Not that I am complaining, I love both the rain and anything that isn't sticky hot Toronto summer weather. It was a good excuse to play around with layers and wear my Fry's that I haven't worn in a dogs age. The weather makes me want to bargain hunt. Which reminds me that my 6 silk scarves are still waiting for me at the cleaners. Alas, what an unfruitful memory I have.

scarf: Urban Outfitters * sweater: American Apparel * dress: Urban Outfitters (on sale, hurrah!) * purse: vintage * tights: Legs Beautiful * Fry boots: some store in NYC

As I was driving along Bloor, reaching the ritzier part, I stumbled upon a new Hermes store which was under construction. I found the scaffolding to be quite smart. A stack of presents from Hermes just for us.
Thanks, Hermes!

I love the delicacy of that dress with with heavier elements. And I can't believe you have *those* boots...so nice! The weather is rather dreary here lately as well, but I do enjoy changing up a bit with the cooler weather.

where have you been so far?
i generally stick to a few stores in my area, which is around roncesvalles/parkdale, and of course get things from where i work. we're having a canada day weekend 50% sale soon ;) it's a good store for dresses.
a great store for shoes and bags is stellaluna, at roncesvalles and queen.
there are a bunch of stores along ossington from queen to dundas but i have actually never been to any...
oh, and i actually work at ossington and college! oops. but there is a new by-the-pound place at ossington and brock which i want to check out.

Unknown said...

geez, i keep messing up addresses. the by-the-pound place is at brock and bloor. and it's owned by 69 vintage.
