Today I decided to obnoxiously deck myself out in American Apparel. Good thing I didn't go into the store, for I would have looked like a groupie that just wanted to sleep with the merchandise, get myself pregnant, and birth racerback tanks and snug bandage dresses. If that could happen, I wouldn't need money anymore. Does it hurt giving birth to sweatshop-free jersey material?
I bought a pair of gold sandals for only $23 during my excursion downtown, as well as a pair of lovely and simple black Ked's, which I will be wearing always.

You see, I am throwing this shin-dig of a barbecue at my home in a couple of days, and I thought I had the perfect outfit, but now I am having second thoughts! I always have to have the perfect outfit for important events such as this (which include boys, hardly any of which I am interested in, unfortunately. But such is life). I'm sure I will be sweating buckets about my ensemble soon, so I will be sure to drop some of my verbal sweat onto a page for you all to read. Until then, I wish you a happy Thursday!

about the photos...i upload mine onto imageshack and always resize it to fit a 19" monitor. the files are ginormous otherwise. then i just upload the photos under the large format. tried dragging in the corners once to make it smaller, but that took away the function of enlarging it so i don't even play with it anymore.

beyond hott!! I would not have guessed the skirt was from AA...looks like its a perfect fit..yea im a little addicted to AA too so I know what you mean...sucks to look like a groupie though..which is why their simple pieces are so great to pair with more intricate vintage/floral/print pieces.. =)
